John Deere has expanded its X-Tier wheel loader program with two new models. The expansion is aimed at specialized compact machine manufacturers such as the Spanish provider Ausa, which are established in niche segments. For smaller OEMs, the market entry of the US corporation could intensify competition, while at the same time creating potential cooperation opportunities, such as in supply components or regional distribution partnerships.
